La chaleur intense r\u00e9sulte \u00e9galement de la configuration urbaine : de vastes surfaces min\u00e9rales et imperm\u00e9abilis\u00e9es absorbent la chaleur, r\u00e9chauffant ainsi l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re. Le r\u00e9sultat est un microclimat inconfortable, parfois nocif pour la sant\u00e9, aussi bien dans les espaces ouverts qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des habitations. Le domaine de l&rsquo;architecture et de l&rsquo;urbanisme bioclimatiques offre diverses solutions de conception pour att\u00e9nuer ces effets.    <br\/><br\/>Le groupe de recherche, en collaboration avec la municipalit\u00e9 locale, m\u00e8ne plusieurs exp\u00e9rimentations avec des dispositifs d&rsquo;att\u00e9nuation climatique dans les espaces publics. Ces interventions visent \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les effets des \u00eelots de chaleur urbains et \u00e0 servir de lieux de rencontre o\u00f9 la sensibilisation \u00e0 la relation climat-\u00e9nergie peut \u00eatre diffus\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Un rev\u00eatement de peinture \u00e0 faible alb\u00e9do a \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9 pour r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;absorption de chaleur. En collaboration avec un groupe d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ves, un rev\u00eatement de peinture \u00e0 faible alb\u00e9do a \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9 pour r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;absorption de chaleur. La structure est compos\u00e9e d&rsquo;un petit bassin avec une pergola, aliment\u00e9 par les nombreuses fontaines publiques \u00e0 d\u00e9bit continu diss\u00e9min\u00e9es dans Rome. En effet, les fontaines typiques dites \u00ab\u00a0nasoni\u00a0\u00bb, qui distribuent de l&rsquo;eau publique dans toute la ville, sont approvisionn\u00e9es par un aqueduc \u00e0 \u00e9coulement continu. Cette intervention met en valeur cette ressource en stockant de l&rsquo;eau fra\u00eeche, qui fonctionne \u00e0 la fois comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment r\u00e9gulateur du climat et comme un espace convivial o\u00f9 les gens peuvent se rafra\u00eechir et trouver un moment de r\u00e9pit dans l\u2019espace public.
